Jason Johns

Jason received a B.A. in History from Northern Iowa and his Juris Doctorate, Certification International Law Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, MN. After law school, Jason practiced law in Washington, D.C. He then worked on a gubernatorial campaign, was director of field operations for a U.S. Congressional campaign, and worked as a legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Capitol. A licensed attorney in both Wisconsin and New York, and with experience in both legal and political arenas Jason specializes in Government Relations. He is currently a partner with Tenuta & Johns, Inc., a Government Relations firm located on Capitol Square in downtown Madison.

Jason has lived in Oregon since 2005. He is married to Carin Johns, a doctor of physical therapy at Stoughton Hospital. They do not currently have children but he is excited about starting a family and raising them in the wonderful community of Oregon.

In addition to his work with the Chamber, Jason is involved with the Lions Club and the Village of Oregon Zoning Appeals Board. He is also Commander, VFW Post 10272 Oregon/Brooklyn. (Iraq War)
Jason in quite the sportsman--In his spare time, he engages in outdoors activities such as boating, fishing and hunting. He also enjoys golfing, bowling, and playing softball. You may see Jason and his wife Carin on his Harley Road King Classic anywhere and everywhere, because "Everyday is a good day to ride."

Jason is looking to help the economic development of not only members, but also the entire Oregon area community because, "When our businesses are successful everyone benefits."
Aaron Ingham

Aaron Ingham and his wife Marcie have been Oregon residents for most of their lives. Aaron began his career first studying Criminal Justice, becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and licensed Private Investigator, as well as joining the U.S. Army after high school. After recently returning from a 15 month deployment to Iraq, Aaron became a part of Trachte, Inc., where he does structural and electrical design for commercial buildings manufactured in Oregon, shipping them pre-assembled to various private companies and public utilities around the world. While attending high school, Aaron managed a local business prior to enlisting in the Army. Now working again for a locally owned business, and being an active part of many other local businesses owned by Marcie's family, Aaron enjoys volunteering his time to promote and develop further a healthy business climate in Oregon. Aaron is a brand new dad to Mallory Marie.

Christine Venden

Chris Venden has a bachelor's degree in Business and spent 11 years in Human Resources before moving on to real estate. She is currently a realtor with Keller Williams on the Quirt-Venden team as an Accredited Buyers' Representative. Born in Madison, graduated from Deerfield High School, she has lived throughout the surrounding comminuities over the years and in Oregon for 10 years with her husband Steve. She and Steve now live in Albany with their two German Shorthairs, Max and Smokey. A member of the Oregon Chamber for 3 years Chris has volunteered at a number of community events both prior to and since becoming a member. In her spare time she likes to travel and spend time with family and friends.

State Representative Brett Davis is a 1994 graduate of Monroe High School. He went on to earn a B.A. in business marketing from UW-Oshkosh in 1999. Along with their son Will and daughter Audrey, Brett and his wife Amy reside in the Town of Oregon.

Brett has been actively involved in public service, notably as a former legislative aide to State Rep. Mike Powers, the chief of staff to State Sen. Joe Leibham, and as a Special Assistant to former Governor and U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson.

Currently, Brett is the Chairman of the Assembly Education Committee, and also serves on the Assembly Transportation, Energy & Utilities, and Consumer Protection & Personal Privacy (Vice-Chair) Committees.

Brett is actively involved in communities throughout south-central Wisconsin, and is a member of the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors), the Oregon-Brooklyn Lion's Club, Riverfront Rock Community Advisory Board, Monroe Noon Optimists, Monroe Kiwanis and Green County Conservation League.

Brett has served as our State Representative for the 80th Assembly District, which covers parts of Rock, Dane, Lafayette and all of Green County since first being sworn into office on January 3, 2005.

Lisa is currently the Advertising Director at Unified Newspaper Group, where she oversees the sales and marketing department. She focuses on new business development while maintaining current client relationships. Unified Newspaper Group publishes the Oregon Observer, Verona Press, Fitchburg Star, Stoughton Hub, and The Great Dane Shopper. Her strengths include problem solving, budget planning, brand management, team leadership, and project management.

Lisa is currently serving on OACC's marketing committee. She has been involved with various Chambers of Commerce including the Verona and Middleton Chambers. Lisa is currently a member of the Oregon Area Fire and EMS department, as an EMT IV Tech for the past 9 years serving previously as a Fire Fighter.

Having lived in Oregon for over 10 years, Lisa currently resides in Evansville with her 7 year old son Hunter. She enjoys going to sporting events, particularly Badger football, hockey and basketball games. She also enjoys time out at the family farm.

Here is what Lisa had to say about becoming an OACC board member: "I see the Chamber evolving to be (an even better) resource for our community's businesses. I believe that membership will increase and morale will be positive. We will have a board that will continue to work in the business community's best interest. We will expand our current events and business education to chamber members. This will be based on the membership's needs they have communicated to the chamber board and staff. I see exciting things happening at the Oregon Chamber of Commerce and I will be very happy to apart of it!"
David Mastos

David L. Mastos, Registered Representative & Financial Adviser, is the owner of DLM Financial Solutions, an independent insurance and financial services firm. Unlike other financial advisers, he believes that instead of being more aggressive and taking more risk, it is safer to increase your returns by reducing taxes and other unnecessary expenses.

Dave is a longtime member and past Director of the Madison Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. His professional credentials include the LUTCF designation (Life Underwriter's Training Council Fellow).

Dave has lived in the Oregon area for twenty five years, currently in Raven Oaks with his wonderful wife Myra, son Dimitri and stepson Jarid. Dave believes that it is crucial for people to be involved in their community in order to maintain and improve the quality of life. Area residents need to support local business and in turn local business needs to support the community.

As a commercial lender for the State Bank of Cross Plains in Oregon, Barb is excited to be an active part of the Oregon Chamber and the Oregon Community. Barb graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1999 with a major in Economics and an emphasis in Business Administration. Barb has over 10 years of commercial banking experience, 8 of which have been here in Dane county.

In addition to her Board position with the Chamber, Barb is the Vice President of the Sauk Trails Optimist Club and Treasurer of Heritage Congregation Church. In her free time, Barb enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball and entertaining friends. Barb and her husband Tim live on the west side of Madison near Verona with their 9-month-old son Kellen.

A realtor for Re/Max Preferred in Oregon, Dan became a member of the Board to help further the progression of the Chamber into our changing business community. Dan grew up in Oregon and is the son of John Bertelson, a local pharmacy owner for many years up until recently. Dan joined the Army Reserves after graduating from Oregon High School. He then completed an Associates Degree in Police Science and was a police officer and deputy in Columbia and Dane Counties for about 3 years. Deciding that law enforcement was not particularly for him, he obtained his real estate license and came back to Oregon and began working with Pam Raschein in the Oregon Re/Max Office. Taking a short 16 month vacation to Iraq, upon his return he got right back into real estate and also became a contractor for Polywood Interior Shutters for a company called Milestone Shutters.

Steve Peotter is a Vice President of Business Banking for Oak Bank, Fitchburg. He has been in the banking and financial services industry for 14 years, and has a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Management from the UW-Madison School of Business. Steve is actively involved in his community on both a personal and professional level:

-Member of Village of Oregon Community Development Authority - Appointed Vice Chair 2007
-Treasurer/Member of Board of Directors for Bergamont Home Owners Association
-Member of Board of Directors for Wisconsin Bankers Association Retail Banking Section

According to Steve, The Oregon Chamber of Commerce has continued to make great strides forward in working with the businesses, residents and elected officials of our community. I look forward to being a part of this continuing success.

Originally from Appleton, Steve has been an Oregon resident since 2005. His wife Kelly grew up in Oregon and her parents still live in the house she grew up in. He has two daughters Olivia age 4, and Ella age 2.
