The Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization, formed in 1964, whose purpose is to create a better place to live, work and do business.
The Chamber has the overall objective to improve the economic viability of the Oregon area business community. To do so successfully, the Chamber is now concentrating more time and energy than ever before in community relations and business needs.
The involvement of Chamber members, from all sectors of the business community, generates a positive influence and impact on the quality of business life in the Oregon area. Only through membership in the Chamber can this wide range of programs continue to focus on improving the Oregon areas economic environment.
The Chamber holds Board meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month, unless otherwise specified. Board of Director meetings are held on the first Thursday from 8:00 - 9:15am. Membership meetings are held on the third Thursday from Noon - 1:15pm. Check the Events Calendar for specific dates, times and locations.
The Chamber office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm or by appointment.

BOARD AND STAFF CODE OF ETHICS
As a (Director, Officer and Employee of the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce, I hereby pledge and agree that:
1. I shall be governed by the Constitution and By-Laws and the Policy Manuals of the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce.
2. I shall carry out my duties with impartiality and equality of service to all members.
3. I shall maintain the highest standards of honor and integrity in public and personal relationships and discharge faithfully the duties of my office or employment.
4. I shall maintain the confidentiality of privileged information obtained by virtue of my office or position; and not use the confidential information for my own, or others personal profit.
5. I shall adhere to all decisions and actions put forth by the majority of the Board of Directors and will not belittle, criticize, or otherwise tarnish the image of the Board and OACC in a public, private or membership venue.
