Volunteer Coordinator for Oregon Area Community Book Project
Volunteers are essential to the Oregon Area Community Book project. For that reason, we need a person to coordinate our volunteers! This Volunteer Coordinator will respond to potential project volunteers, fill them in on the OACB project, and help to match them with assignments. The volunteer coordinator will schedule and direct meetings to bring volunteers together to learn what each sub-team is working on, share experiences, and enjoy the process.

We also need people willing to be liaisons to designated groups. Liaisons will gather history, present, and future vision from a designated group, by engaging in activities that might include individual interviews, collecting sessions, research, or something else we haven't thought to ask for. Liaisons may work independently for may organize a work group to conduct activities under their direction.

Tax Preparer/Accounting Assistant - P/T Seasonal
Sheldon Accounting Solutions, LLC, a Stoughton, Wisconsin CPA firm, is seeking a part-time tax preparer/accounting assistant. This position entails assisting the CPA in preparing tax returns and providing other basic accounting support such as data entry, and basic clerical support as necessary. We are seeking someone able to work 12-16 hours per week through April 15th. How the hours are completed within the work week and Saturday is flexible, although candidates must be able to work for at least 4 hour blocks of time.

Successful candidates may be able to continue to work and learn with Sheldon Accounting Solutions, LLC throughout the year on an as-needed basis for month and quarterly end projects. The possibility of returning for additional tax seasons is also available.

The ideal candidate will have prior accounting experience, however college-level accounting coursework will be considered in lieu of experience. Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required, as well as advanced proficiency with MS Office. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are a must!
