Event Description:
Last August, in partnership with “One Woman Many Lakes” (an organization run by a local Oregon woman who also has Metastatic Breast Cancer, Mary Gooze) we hosted our 2nd Volleyball Tournament to raise awareness and funds for Metastatic Breast Cancer Research. With the help of everyone who came and supported the event we raised over $30,000!! We hope to make this year’s event an even bigger success, but we can’t do that without the support and generosity of everyone. This year we again have decided to keep the funds local at the UW Carbone Cancer Center, Maggie received treatment and support there and really believed in the doctors and staff. The dollars raised could help save the lives of someone you know through clinical trials or development of new therapies. Could be a mother, daughter, sister or friend.
As summer begins and schedules fill up quickly, we wanted to make sure you all know support can come in many different ways, we really appreciate any way you can help...
Gift Basket Donations - items needed towards the gift baskets for the raffle or beer/wine for the cork pull.
Make a Monetary Donation- in Maggie’s honor to UW Carbone - or dollars towards purchasing items for gift baskets
Play Volleyball - Get a team together and register for the tournament.
Come Out and Support the Event: HQ will be donating a % of the proceeds from that day to UW Carbone Cancer Center
Participate in the Raffle - While at HQ buy raffle tickets for a chance to win an amazing gift basket or walk away with a bottle of wine or beer in the cork pull. The raffle items are always top quality with items such as Amazon gift cards, hotel stays, Lululemon gift basket, Kate Spade, movie tickets, Fiskars tools, and more! See attached photo.
