| What is a Chamber of Commerce? |

| A Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, voluntary organization that unites businesses and citizens who invest their time and money in a community development program - working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of the area. It must be understood that a Chamber of Commerce is PEOPLE. There is a place in the Chamber for members to get involved and accomplish collectively what no one of them could do alone. |

| The Board of Directors, who are elected by the membership and serve without pay, establish the policies of the Chamber. Volunteer committees and hired staff conduct special activities and overall duties of the Chamber. This backbone of action-oriented individuals, with varied talents, oversee the work and direct overall efforts to accomplish the goals set forth by the membership. |
