Lerner Park Planting Work Day

You are invited to enrich the prairie with a new crop of “Prairie Plugs”.
 
Saturday, June 5th, at 9:00 is a work day to be planting prairie grasses and flowers.  They have been growing in the Middle School green house and would typically be planted in our annual 8th grade work day in May.  With COVID, the work day did not happen this year, leaving a few thousand plant to put into the ground.  
 
Middle School teachers will be bringing the plants to Lerner Park, along with special planting tools.  Your help would be much appreciated.  
 
Meet 9:00 AM at the Burr Oak entrance to Lerner Park.  The weather forecast says it will be a great day to be outdoors.
